The gap · why good tech stalls
The bottleneck in broiler innovation isn't ideas. It's the last mile of validation.
Computer-vision health monitoring, in-barn robotics, continuous air sanitation — the science is real and the demos are impressive. But a demo isn't a commercial-ready tool. Models need volumes of real barn data before their recommendations are trustworthy. Hardware needs to survive dust, heat, and a live flock. Claims need to hold up across a full grow-out.
That work is slow, expensive, and unglamorous, and no one is set up to do it. The incentives to take it on aren't there for anyone in today's supply chain, and new technologies can't get commercial access on their own. So the technology sits at 70% — and every half-ready pitch is another draw on a producer's time.
We built the environment that's been missing: a working farm whose job is iteration, run by people who've shipped hard technology before — chasing the gains that make production more efficient while advancing animal welfare, sustainability, and public health.
Why we exist
Artificial intelligence is advancing rapidly — increasingly as physical AI: systems that can see, sense, and act in the real world. As those capabilities move from screens into machines, they reach past the world of bits and into the world of atoms — including inside the barn.
We want to be at the frontier of how that technology shapes husbandry — to understand where it's heading, and to help shape its direction.

How it works · the loop
Every technology that actually works got there the same way: build, test, learn, refine — over and over, in an environment that lets you move fast. That loop is what matures a promising idea into a dependable tool, and animal agriculture has never had a commercial environment built to run it. We are that environment — several trials per barn a year, not one every few million dollars.

The platform · what we do
We operate a full commercial broiler farm, but we run it for iteration, not just production. Every house is wired with frontier precision-livestock-farming technology — the dense sensing and continuous data capture that turns a working barn into a measurement platform, and the backbone every trial is built on. That's what lets us run many experiments a year and trust the results.

Treating birds individually or by zone instead of dosing the whole flock through the water line. The vision is compelling; working systems aren't here yet. Our instrumented barns are where targeted-delivery approaches get tested against real outcomes rather than bench conditions.
Robots that can navigate a live house — detecting and removing mortality, monitoring at the individual-bird level, acting where a person can't be around the clock. Identification is still inconsistent and reliable physical handling is further off; the development cycle moves faster with a commercial barn to iterate in.
222nm Far-UVC — safe for continuous use with birds present, proven in hospitals — and glycol-vapor systems that cut airborne and systemic pathogen burden. We run the trials that turn these into validated, plug-and-play biosecurity with measured impact on flock health.
